Prediction of the Main Character

Well I think that Bella and Edward will continue their relation and live happily ever after.But I have read the second book "New Moon" and my prediction seems silly.Instead on this Edward break up with Bella and moves away for her to be safe and live a normal life.Bella's heart is proken and fells depressed for months. Soon starts hanging out with Jacob, trying to heal her pain from Edward.She later starts having feelings for him but then Alice comes to check if Bella is really dead from jumping of a cliff for suicide.Alice explains to Bella that Edward was about to kill himself in Italy.So they go to Italy to stop him.He soons realize that Bella is still alive and begs her forgiveness to take him back.She did forgave him and continue dating.

Mini Theme Analysis

The book I choose to do this is Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.Its about a girl named Isabella "Bella" Swan and she moves to Forks to live with her father.On her first day of school, during Biology, she meets Edward.He seemed angry with her and left really quickly as soon as the bell rang.After a month or so of adsentes,Edward came back and starts talking to Bella.She then figures out Edward's family's secret that their vampires.Later they fall in love.With Edward's protection and her friend Jacob's reassurance she learns to deal with her situation.That love is stronger than temptation, and can be found in the most unexpected places. For Example, Edward is drawn to Bella but has to resist the temptation. and That love can overcome anything.

Song or Poem

The song I choose that connects the book "Twilight" is Decode by Paramore because in the book, Bella is trying to figure out what Edward is.She got the information she need from a n old legend told by her family friend Jacob.Later, she did research on the internet and finds out that Edward is a vampire.While the song tells that someone is trying to "decode" a riddle or a puzzle to figure out on what their trying to know.The song is on the link below.Its on youtube so you can't see at school.Sorry.Watch it home.

Heroes

Odysseus's heroic qualities matches with other heroes that I know of because he faced many enemies like heroes mostly do.Like for example Batman faced multiple of villains like the Joker,Catwoman, and the penguin.There's more but I don't want to list them all because you'll miss my point.Also Batman doesn't have powers and so does Odysseus.They use their intelligence to get out of situations that seems impossible to survive.He also some help from his men.So he's heroic but doesn't have any super powers.

What I think about a theme is that is like telling you on how the book will be mostly be about or its telling you a lesson depending on the situation.I think themes is important because it helps the reader to understand the story more on the situation the characters is going through.I see themes occurring on TV commercials/TV shows,restaurants,and on movies.A theme from what I read that has been meaningful to me is to speak up when in trouble with a situation you can't solve yourself.Like from the amazing book I read in english class, Speak, I love the book! :)

(2nd blog)Highlights/Lowlights

So far I mostly read,draw or listen to music in my free time.Before I never like reading for fun, but when I went to Ms.Crabtree's room in the first day of school.It made me realize that maybe reading maybe a good thing for me and it had.So I give thanks to Ms. for inspiring to read more.Besides that I listen to every kind of music,except country.But mostly rock or metal.I don't know why but I like it for the lyrics and how it sounds.For example, the song "Gone Forever" by Three Days Grace.Its one of my favorite songs because it talks about when you realize someone you don't like is gone,you feel so much better about your self.This song relates to me because a long time,I hated a specific person.A year later,I don't see that person anymore.So I felt so happy!For drawing,I mostly draw cartoon characters like sonic,pokemon,etc.But somehow I'm getting the urge to draw wolfs.I guess I got the urge because I always go to deviantart.com to look up my art work and other people's art.While I was looking around,I found a few drawings of wolfs.Its amazing how well they drew them.It was so awesome that I decide to draw wolves too.I was so surprise on how well I drew my first wolf.

(1st Blog)Third book

The third book I'm reading is called Twilight by Stephenie Meyers.What I like about this because a year ago,people mostly were talking about it and that it was an awesome book.Then later the movie came out and it got me interested to know what it mostly about that got everyone interested in this book.So far I read it was so amazing because its about a girl named Bella moved to Fork,Washington so that her mom can go to places with her "boyfriend".So she started her first day of her new school and already made new friends.Later she went to Biology class she sat next to Edward Cullen.He didn't like her but later he missed school for a few days then came back and warms up to and became friends.Then later in the story Bella heard a legend from an old friend named Jacob Black, and conclude that Edward and Cullens are vampires.So she told Edward is he was a vampire and he said yes and told her some information about that.Then later they fall in love.That's how far I read.For now.

The first two book I read is a series called The Hunger Games.The first book I read is called The Hunger Games(duh).Its about a 16 year old girl names Katniss and she lives with her mother and sister.Her father died in an acident while working in the mines.Her mother was so depressed that she stayed in her room for like months.So Katniss and her sister,Prim,have to feed themselves.So Katniss went to look for food in the cold rain.She went to a Bakery.After the baker's wife yelled at her to leave,her son came out gave her some bread.Later in the story,every year the Capitol forses one boy and one girl from each tribute fight to the death in an outdoor arena until only one remains.Katniss volunteers in the games in place of her younger sister.Also participating in a boy named Peeta Mellark(he's the one who gave Katniss the bread when her family were starving).I learned that no matter the danger your in is still possible to help anyone in need of help.For example,when Katniss's family were starving, she went out to look for food or a job even though it seem impossible since her district are poor.She still manage to get food for her family. :)

The second book I read is called Catching Fire.The second book in the series.The story continues on after Katniss won the Hunger Games.She went hunting in the woods with Gale(her best friend).While they were talking Gale kissed her.She got very shocked on what he did.Later she went home, President Snow was waiting for her.They were talking about the last Hunger Games.He said that the Capitol is very angry about Katniss's "rebellion" against them and basically humiliating them.So they'll have to do the Hunger Games again for the actions she did.So she's introuble.I guess the theme of this book is that when you lie,later it becomes a big lie and you have to tell the truth sooner or later.For example, Katniss has lied to the whole Capitol that she is madly in love with Peeta since she's not.She liking Gale more.Read the book you might understand it more.
